"The First Selected" Contest

Fright’s debut contest is here, and we’re ready to spotlight your best work. Submit your poetry or short fiction by Christmas Day, December 25th, to enter "The First Selected," our kickoff contest celebrating horror.

We’re looking for horror-themed short stories and poetry, under 1000 words, of any kind. More details can be found in our standard submission guidelines.

The winner will be revealed on New Year’s Day (January 1st) and will receive:

• $250 in prize money.
• An author highlight post on our site.
• Their selected work prominently showcased on Fright’s website.

This winning piece will serve as the benchmark for excellence in all future submissions to Fright.

Even if your piece doesn’t win, it may still be considered for our weekly selections. Great horror deserves to be shared.
